New Feature – Opinion Please
I’ve added small letter buttons next to the job posts, B = Broward, D = Dade and P = Palm Beach. My goal here is to help job seekers skim over and quickly identify jobs in their areas… (ie, people in Dade and probably not interested in reading about jobs in Palm Beach)… Now keep in mind, this can be done by selecting your desired county from the Category section about half way down in the left hand bar … so what do you think, use the buttons or dump the buttons? (The buttons aren’t on ALL posts right now because I’m just trying them out, if you guys like them, I’ll add them to all the recent ones and use them going forward)
Great Idea. How do you come up with these ideas? Do you sit in bed at night and before falling asleep you make mental notes. I used to do that. LOL. Anyway, what a GREAT idea. I say GO FOR IT!!!!! Don’t wait for comments, that makes everything a whole lot easier.
Pay me – I’ll do it for you. LOL. If you ever need an assistant to do things that you do not have time to do, pass it on to me, I’ll stay up until it’s finished. I can’t sleep anyway so why not do something other than watch t.v. I would rather make any money that I can. So just remember, I am here for you if you EVER need any help with ANYTHING.

Thanks Julie, if I could afford to hire an assistant I’d call you in a heartbeat!! The site will have to get a lot bigger before I can do that though, lol. That being said, this site is for ALL of us, it is just as much a resource for me as it is for you. So, if you ever want to write a “guest” article or editorial or something like that, feel free to shoot me an email and we can discuss.
I’m not sure where this comes up — I’d have to see it — is it a feature setting for the blog that you choose so that you only receive the ones you want, or do you still get them all and glance at the button, disregarding the ones not in your area?
Hmm well I think it only comes up on the website itself, it may not come up in the emails that people get… I’ll have to wait till the new email goes out in the morning to see if the buttons are included in it (the e-mails are pulled automatically by the subscription service)… but so right now they are coming up on the actual website, they are designed to allow you to glance at the button and tell quickly which county the job is located in….
If someone is only looking for jobs specifically in a certain county – they can come to the website and on the left column about half way down under Categories they can click on the County they want to see jobs for and it will show the posts specifically for that county.
The e-mails are all or nothing at this time.
Bravo for the Buttons, I say! It makes it easy to simply scan the daily postings and hone in on those in one’s geographic area.

Thanks! I’ve been having a problem programming them but everyone seems to like them so hopefully I will have them properly implemented soon 🙂
