Job Opening: Paralegal – Family Law & Litigation Firm – Downtown Miami – Rafool, LLC

Paralegal (Salary Range: $55,000 to $68,000)

Rafool, LLC is a boutique family law and litigation firm located in Downtown
Miami, only a short walk from FTX Arena.

The ideal candidate will be able to assist attorneys in a fast-paced environment
relating to dissolution of marriage, dependency, paternity, and other types of
complex civil litigation. They should be comfortable multitasking, speaking to
clients and court administration, managing client billing, managing their task
completion to meet deadlines, and drafting of correspondence and pleadings. They
should also possess a friendly demeanor to interact with office visitors, clients, and
employees effectively.

Responsibilities:
 Basic legal drafting
 Prepare of attorney’s materials for hearings, depositions, and trials
 Scheduling & calendaring of hearings, depositions, and meetings. Manage
the logistics for same
 Prepare discovery request and responses
 Prepare correspondence
 Tracking client billing
 Entering client costs into billing software
 Document & case file management
 Communicate with clients, colleagues, judicial administration, and others
involved in a case.

Qualifications:
 Minimum Two-year college degree
 3 to 5 years of paralegal experience
 Highly detail oriented
 Strong ability to multitask
 Strong communication skills
 Must be experienced with Florida E-file portal and CourtMap or other
similar court submission programs
 Knowledge of accessing court dockets & how to navigate same
 Experience with administrative and clerical work

 Proficiency with Microsoft Sharepoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
 Knowledgeable in Clio
