Job Opening: Litigation Paralegal – Miami, Florida

Global firm seeks a commercial litigation paralegal, offering a hybrid schedule in their Miami office.

Commercial litigation paralegal involves a wide range of tasks, including:

  1. Conducting legal research and analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations related to the case.
  2. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  3. Assisting attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witnesses, and scheduling court appearances.
  4. Managing case files and maintaining document databases.
  5. Assisting in the discovery process, including reviewing and organizing documents, and preparing and responding to discovery requests.
  6. Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case-related matters.
  7. Managing and tracking deadlines and court appearances.
  8. Participating in the selection and management of outside vendors, such as court reporters and expert witnesses.
  9. Assisting with settlement negotiations and drafting settlement agreements.
  10. Assisting with post-trial matters, including the preparation of post-trial motions and appellate briefs.

You must have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology. Additionally, you should have experience with legal research databases, such as LexisNexis and Westlaw, and document management software. Strong attention to detail and be able to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

100k salary plus bonuses
