Our client, a South Florida defense firm, has an opening for a Legal Assistant with Medical malpractice defense experience for their Fort Lauderdale office. This is a permanent placement opportunity with a great firm. Includes top benefits & competitive salary!
Requirements include:
- Medical malpractice experience is required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience of insurance defense
- State & Federal E filing exp is required
- Extensive litigation experience
- Redlining and transcribing skills
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Full knowledge of rules of civil procedures
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills required
- Assist attorney in all aspects of day to day litigation practice activities
