Job Opening: Assistant Property Manager – Hollywood, Florida


Including but not limited to:

  • discuss the service calls and go over any issues around the properties, and assign service calls to appropriate staff or sub-contractors
  • Speak with tenants regarding service calls
  • Speak with tenants regarding complaint/concerns
  • Speak with prospective tenants
  • Show vacant apartments
  • Run new tenant credit applications/screening
  • Prepare new tenant move ins
  • Prepare new tenant lease & move in documents to be sent for signing through DocuSign
  • Assist tenants with registering for RentCafe/ACH payments/WIPS payments for online rent payments
  • Prepare lease renewals and schedule tenants to come in
  • Deal with maintenance staff throughout the day on different issues
  • Attend to any “emergency”
  • Walk thru the apartments being worked on
  • Walk thru vacant units and strategize as to what is to be done to prepare for rental
  • Prepare 3-day notices for delinquent tenants
  • Prepare 7 day notices for tenants in violation of their lease and for city code violations
  • Assign maintenance orders
  • Place appliance orders with vendors when needed
  • Speak with vendors when they come in
  • Reload prepaid laundry cards for tenants
  • Answer telephones
  • Prepare inventory sheets with status of vacant apartments
  • Coordinate jobs with outside contractors
  • General office filing
