International Legal Technology Association ILTA Free Session Presentations And Interviews – Recordings and Downloads
Hi everyone, I wanted to give you a little bit of information about the International Legal Technology Association or ILTA. To make a long story short, “ILTA is the premier peer networking organization, providing information to members to maximize the value of technology in support of the legal profession.”
If you are a techie like me, you might be interested in some of their offerings. The nice thing is, you can access a of information without joining. The nicer thing is, companies join, individuals don’t. So, if your company/law firm is a member, you can make an account for free. Check out the Member Benefits. You can also see the Member Entity List and see if your employer is on it. I found my firm on the list and created a free account within a few minutes.
Anyway, what I really wanted to show you is the free material you can access. ILTA hosts annual conventions on really fantastic topics. You can access Presentation and Handout materials from the 2011 conference for free and without being a member by clicking here: 2011. You need to be a member to download the audio/video recordings of the 2011 sessions.
The 2012 conference just recently wrapped up and they are in the process of uploading all of the materials, but you can access the 2012 downloads by clicking here: 2012. As with 2011, you do not need to be a member to download the written materials/presentations. But I also see that the videos are available as well – so perhaps they are available for a limited time for non-members.
