Announcement from Florida Bar: Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee

The Florida Bar Board of Governors recently approved the bifurcation of the Florida Registered Paralegal Program Committee into two separate committees. The Florida Registered Paralegal Program Committee as it previously operated will continue to exist and perform the certification and compliance functions of the FRP Program.

The newly formed committee is the Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee. The Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee’s mission is to create awareness of The Florida Bar’s Florida Registered Paralegal program, enhance the communication about the benefits of Florida Registered Paralegal membership, develop educational programs, and create networking and social events to foster camaraderie and cohesiveness of Florida Registered Paralegals. Members of this new committee will be appointed by The Florida Bar President, Michelle Suskauer. The committee size is limited to under 50 members. Membership on the Florida Registered Paralegal Enrichment Committee is limited to only Florida Registered Paralegals and Florida Bar members. It is expected that this committee will have a planning meeting during The Florida Bar’s fall meeting at the Tampa Airport Marriott on October 18, 2018.
